Marketing for a small business is a very interesting beast, isnt it? When you mention the term marketing these days, people immediately seem to think Google advertising, websites and internet marketing, but marketing is so much more!
In this issue we are going to discuss Keyword Research. Keyword research is by far the most important item when doing any form of Internet Marketing. In any industry, there are a number of keywords and keyword variations to consider. However, there are elements relating to each of these keywords we need to consider.
In this article we will start building a Google campaign. If you have been following past articles, you would have already created a Google Adwords account at http:www.google.com. auadwords. I will not go into step by step instructions on how to create these accounts and services, however, if you get stuck along the way, send any questions to http:www.shaneleite.com and I will be more than happy to help you in your efforts. If you havent already done so, I would again recommend installing Google Analytics (a free website statistics tool offered by Google). To do this log into your Google Adwords account, click on the Analytics tab and follow the prompts. Installing Google Analytics (or using other website statistics tools) is highly recommended to benchmark your current site statistics and track your performance.
During consultations with my clients I am often asked If I did only one form of internet marketing what would you recommend? Well thats easy Pay Per Click (PPC). The name PPC speaks for itself, in that you ONLY pay when someone clicks on your advert, not for the number of times you advert displayed.

In this issue I am going to show you how to angle Social Networking to be Social Marketing and how you can use it to promote and grow your business. Fortunes are now being made by those who capitalize on the social media world.
What is marketing? In simple terms it is to communicate or to make known a product or service, and to entice the buyer to purchase or use that product or service. We all know traditional marketing methods i.e. print advertising, direct marketing, telemarketing, and networking to name a few. But how many of us know about internet marketing?
