Are you a good sales person?

Funny, I dont think of myself as a sales person. Im a software engineerprogrammer ... nerd if you wish.
The other day I was sitting with Richard and Raj from Green Dot Financial talking to them about co-branding myBlitz loyaltyrewards cards (the way we did with the SAbona card).
At some point during the conversation I confessed that I am no sales person.
Apparently they dont agree.
Still, I dont think of myself as a sales person and maybe or probably you dont either. Yet we do have to sell, every day! I had to sell my wife on the idea of implementing a household budget (not sure she bought it but thats a story for another day)
I have a good friend (Steve Bagi) who happens to be a psychologist (ok, ok, I can already hear what youre thinking).He gave me this book called Strengths based selling. Its very interesting indeed, and part of the process is to complete a survey called the Clifton Strength Finder.
Now if you want to have a good laugh (at my expense) why dont you come along to the breakfast on Friday and hear Steve analyze my results and expose my strengths (and weaknesses). Steve is an entertaining speaker at any time, but when he can take the Mickey out of me, surely it would be worth even more!
We may have to video this for those of you who are interstate or cant make it!
