David Pocock, born in strife-torn Zimbabwe in 1988, is an Australian rugby union player. He is the current Western Force (Perth) and Wallabies no.7 openside flanker, taking over where legendary player George Smith left off. An inaugural Emirates Western Force player, Dave was named vice-captain of the club in 2010 in recognition of his superb leadership skills on and off the field and is touted to be the next Wallabies captain.
